About the Coaching Program

Clarity under pressure. Confidence when it counts. Belonging when it matters most.

Walking into the ICU can feel overwhelming — the pace is fast, expectations are high, and it can feel like everyone else instinctively “knows how to say things” while you're still trying to find your voice. If you’ve ever frozen when giving a one-liner, rambled through sign-out, hesitated to escalate a concern, or worried that you “don’t sound like an ICU clinician,” you’re not alone – and you're not failing.

Most critical care training teaches medicine.

Very little prepares you for how to communicate, advocate, and carry yourself with confidence under pressure.

And that gap hurts deeply.

The ICU Communication Accelerator is designed to change that.

This program helps new and transitioning ICU clinicians move from anxious and unsure to calm, clear, confident, and trusted.

You'll learn how to:

  • speak with clarity when stakes are high
  • present information in a way that earns respect
  • communicate uncertainty without sounding uncertain
  • steady your nervous system when alarms are screaming
  • navigate ICU culture so you feel like you truly belong.

You don't have to hope confidence "kicks in someday."

You can build it – on purpose, with structure, support, and guidance from someone who understands the reality of ICU life.

This is where your voice strengthens.

This is where your confidence becomes real.

This is where you stop surviving... and start belonging.

Your Path to Becoming a Trusted, Respected, and Confident ICU Communicator

This coaching experience is intentionally designed to meet you where you are and help you grow with clarity, structure, and real-world support. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we begin by understanding who you are in the ICU, what you’ve experienced, and what you need to thrive. From there, your coaching journey becomes personalized, practical, and deeply relevant to your role.

Session 1: Discovery & Strategy

We start by understanding your background, confidence level, communication style, and current ICU environment. You’ll walk away with a clear vision of what success looks like for you.

Session 2: Tailored Growth Path

  • New to Practice? You’ll build strong ICU communication foundations — what to say, how to say it, and how to stay grounded under pressure.
  • Transitioning to the ICU? We’ll focus on adapting to ICU workflow, culture, and expectations while helping you develop your ICU identity and voice.

Session 3: Turning Skills into Performance

We bring everything together through real-world scenarios and advanced coaching. Whether you need performance practice, stronger presence, clearer escalation, or leadership-level communication, this session helps you develop authority, composure, and respect in the ICU.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this coaching program for?

This program is for ICU clinicians who want clearer, structured, more confident communication under pressure. It is ideal for new ICU clinicians, students or residents rotating through the ICU, clinicians transitioning into the ICU from a different floor or specialty, and experienced clinicians adapting to ICU expectations.

Do I need to already be in the ICU to benefit?

No. Many clients enroll before starting in the ICU to feel prepared on day 1.

How long is the program?

This coaching experience includes three 60-minute sessions, typically completed over 3-4 weeks to allow reflection and growth between sessions.

How is this different from ICU orientation or residency training?

Most training teaches medicine, expecting you to pick up the communication style along the way. This program focuses on filling that gap by giving you structured thinking, clarity of speech, and an understanding of ICU culture and expectations.

How soon can I start?

Once you enroll, you'll receive access to schedule your first session. Availability is limited to ensure a high-touch experience, so booking early is encouraged.

How long do I have to use my sessions?

Sessions must be completed within 90 days of enrollment unless otherwise arranged.

Will this replace supervision or institutional training?

No. This is an educational coaching program designed to support skill development and confidence. It does not replace supervision, institutional policies, or clinical judgment.

Can I record sessions?

You may take notes during sessions; recording is not permitted to protect privacy and program integrity.

Can I get a refund if I'm unhappy with my purchase?

Because this is a personalized 1:1 coaching program and space is limited, coaching purchases are non-refundable once the program begins. However, I want this to be a meaningful and valuable experience for you.

·       If you decide the program is not a good fit before your first session, contact me within 7 days of purchase to request a refund (minus processing fees).

·       After coaching has started, refunds are not provided.

·       If you need to reschedule, sessions may be moved with at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed or late-canceled sessions may be forfeited.

My commitment is to show up fully for you—and I expect the same in return.

Can I purchase coaching more than once?

Absolutely! If you find yourself in need of coaching more than once, simply purchase the coaching again.

I'm so happy you're here!

I’m Jordan, Critical Care PA and founder of ICU Clinician's Compass. I created this space because I know firsthand how overwhelming the ICU can feel – especially when you're new to practice or transitioning into critical care. The constant high stakes decisions. Fast paced rounds that leave you struggling through a patient presentation in front of a whole group of people. Imposter syndrome. Most new ICU clinicians don't struggle because they're unqualified – they struggle because traditional training leaves a gap between clinical knowledge and the confidence, communication, and cultural fluency required to actually feel steady, respected, and trusted in the ICU. That's where ICU Clinician's Compass comes in. I help you go from overwhelmed and unsure to calm, confident, grounded, and trusted in one of the most demanding environments in medicine. You don't need to navigate this alone. You're capable. You're learning. And I'm here to support you every step of the way.
